Who is that?
Hi! That’s me. I’m Sarah. Welcome to my blog! Here’s a little bit about me:
I was born in Pontiac, Michigan, but I grew up in Waterford. I also lived in Holly and Clarkston. I am an only child, so I had to use my imagination to entertain myself while my mother worked her multiple jobs. This caused me to make up stories, and eventually led me to realizing I was meant to be a writer (and I am! I self published two short stories).
I started this blog because I wanted to quit college. No seriously. I was in college, but I told my mom I wanted to quit to be a writer, and she told me to start with a blog. If you want to know more, head over here (I may or may not mention Zelda and NaNoWriMo).
What do you write about?
A little bit of everything. Real stuff. One week I’ll write about what I’ve been up to, and the next, I’ll write about something I’ve learned and have been meditating on for the past week. Whatever I feel compelled to write, I write it. Think of this blog as a public diary. I like telling people about my life, and that’s what I do.
I write about my life, my inspirations, my goals, my struggles, and I share them publicly. Why? Because I want people to know me. I want people to get to know me, and maybe learn something from someone who might be totally different from themselves. Or, maybe someone will realize they’re not alone, and find comfort in that. I want to make people happy. I want to teach people.
I want to write.
When do your posts come out?
A new blog post goes up whenever I feel like it. I used to have a schedule, but this year, I decided to throw that rule out of the window, and just do whatever I feel like doing. I do hope you enjoy it!
What social media do you use?
You can find all of my social media links on this page. Twitter is my go-to, at the moment.
Is there anything else I can fill my inbox with?
Why yes, there surely is! I have a newsletter! In it I include something about myself, my latest blog post, what I’m currently writing (or not writing), among other things. You just never know what you’re going to get. Interested?
Thank you for reading so far! I really do appreciate it. Below you’ll find my “theme of the year.” At the beginning of every year, I make a goal for myself, and you, dear reader. Try it out! See what happens. And please let me know what you discover. Remember, the more you explore, the farther your boundaries become.

It’s amazing how much growth you can go through if you stick to your plans. Once you finish your goal, you get a sense of accomplishment, and emptiness. Which isn’t always a bad thing, if you fill the void with something good. It’s like finishing a book. That burning question of, “What am I going to do with my life now?” can either lead to reading another book, or picking up your phone and wasting your time with social media nonsense. But I digress.
I like the idea of going one step further this year. Digging deeper. I don’t know what that looks like yet. Maybe it’s saying, “I should…,” and then actually doing it. Instead of waiting six months, maybe I’ll do it in four. It’s a start.
I suggest we all dig a little deeper this year. That can look however you want it to, and it can be as long or as short as you want it to. You can focus on one thing for the year, or one thing for a month, or multiple things over a set course. It’s whatever, we’re each on our own journey.
It’s the year of digging deeper!
The more I explore, the farther my boundaries become.
