This post is a little later than usual, but I’ve been lazy and haven’t actually sat down to write it. But, here I am!
Let’s talk about the Rhodia dot book first. If you’ve been keeping up with my Scribe posts, you’ll notice that Rhodia is a favorite notebook of Chad’s (the Stationary Savant), and it has quickly become one of my favorites as well. I have a few notebooks from Rhodia, and I’m excited to have yet another one.
Since it’s a dot book, it doesn’t matter which way you use it. In the letter, Chad writes, “With the binding setup for either side or top use, these are incredibly versatile (I’m looking at you, lefties).” Well, sir, I just happen to be a leftie, so I thank you.
I’ll talk about the pens later.
Denis is another one of our favorites (how can you not love this notebook from May?). This one is the Navy Join The Movement Spiral Notebook (it’s not the exact same, but it’s pretty close).
I love the blue, it has TWO pockets (!), 130 pages (front and back), and of course, the money goes toward a great cause. Also, I have a strange love for the elastic band closure. I remember, the first time I saw it, I thought it was genius.
This set of pens are from the Sakura Micron Pen Collection (Sakura also created the Gelly Roll, which I got in a previous shipment). I received four colors (blue, red, black, and dark blue), with four tip sizes (1, 2, 3, and 5, or you could say .25mm, .30mm, .35mm, and .45mm). I like the thicker sizes better, they don’t feel as scratchy as the smaller sizes. Also, they’re waterproof and fade proof, if you’re wondering (no, they don’t bleed).

Thank you so much for reading! Talk to you later!
