SCRIBEdelivery- September

If you didn’t know, I love stationary. Anything from pens, to notebooks, to pencils and highlighters and all that jazz.

I really wanted to try SCRIBEdelivery the first time I saw it advertised on Facebook. I finally decided to sign up and see what this thing was all about.

I have to be honest, I’m kind of torn. On the one hand, I like (most of) what I got. On the other, I’m not sure it’s worth the money.

This is everything I got in my first package. I was pretty excited about the Frixion erasable highlighters because I love the pens that Pilot has (which I talk about in my stationary post). As far as the sticky notes (which I have no picture of because I haven’t opened them yet, oops), I wasn’t too sure. I’m not a sticky note person. But, other than that, let’s have a look at the others.

I’m actually really pleased with this notebook. I love that there are dots instead of lines. I wasn’t sure what I was going to use it for, since I don’t bullet journal or anything. But I knew I’d find something.

Here’s some information about this notebook. I like the fact that this was Kickstarter project.

I find this concept pretty neat. I can see graphic designers getting a lot of use out of this. Also, you could use it for story boards, when plotting out stories or scripts. Below are some pictures of how you can set up your paper.

As you can see, there is a line that shows the middle of the paper. Oh, how thoughtful!

Also, I wanted to show you the lines that show where the edges of the boxes are.

Eventually, I found a way to use this notebook, and I’m so pleased with the results. The dots make it so easy to make the knots. But, making hexagons is still not so easy, but it is fun.

As for the erasable highlighters, they kind of work. You can still kind of see the yellow, and the blue didn’t erase that well.

Now, this last pen is what threw me off. I’m not a huge fan of it. It’s…I don’t know. A lot of people like it, and they say it’s smooth. Yes, it’s smooth, but it’s a little light for me (ink wise). I like heavier inks, like PaperMate and Bic.

All in all, I do like the notebook. But, was what I paid for this really worth it just for the notebook? I’m not sure. But, I do plan on getting it again, just to see if the next package is better.
