A House And A Hanging

After Jesus went to trial, His journey continued.

 

John 18:24 Then Annas sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

This is Caiaphas’ house.  Yesterday, I showed you a picture of the steps that Jesus walked up (along with the Mount of Olives).  Those steps lead to these steps.

After Caiaphas was done with Jesus, He was sent to Pilate (see John 18:29-19:16).

 

Matthew 27:3-5 Then Judas, His betrayer…brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders. (5) Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

This is the valley where Judas hung himself.  No one knows where because, according to our tour guide, he didn’t leave a business card.
